Join us for a relaxed, hangover free walk exploring Anglezarke Moor and Lead Mines Clough, a beautiful and varied route in the West Pennine Moors.
This is a scenic circular walk taking in woodland paths, reservoir edges, flowing streams, historic lead mining areas and open moorland views stretching towards Rivington Pike.
We’ll be walking at a steady, social pace, with time to chat, pause, and enjoy the surroundings. Perfect if you’re sober curious, cutting back, alcohol free, or just fancy a fresh start to your Saturday morning.
Walk details:
• Distance approx 6km
• Time around 3 hours
• Terrain includes woodland paths, tracks and moorland, with a few short ascents
• A varied route with good paths throughout
Getting there:
• Start point: Anglezarke Reservoir car park
• Access via Moor Road, Anglezarke
What to bring:
• Comfortable walking shoes or trainers
• Weather appropriate layers
• Water and anything you like for after the walk
