Join us for our first hangover free hike of the year a relaxed walk around Turton and Entwistle Reservoir, one of Lancashire’s most scenic and easy going routes.

This is a pleasant circular walk taking in waterside paths, woodland, open moorland edges and wide views stretching towards the Peak District. It’s an ideal winter walk that still feels calm, spacious and restorative.

We’ll be walking at a steady, social pace, with time to chat, pause, and enjoy the surroundings. Perfect if you’re sober curious, cutting back, alcohol free, or just fancy a fresh start to your Saturday morning.

Walk details:

• Start 10am
• Distance approx 6.5km
• Time around 3 hours
• Terrain includes tracks, lanes and one short section of moorland path
• Mostly level, with benches and stopping points along the way

Getting there:

• Start point: Turton and Entwistle Reservoir car park (BL7 0HN)
• Easily reached via the B6391
• Train access available from Blackburn or Bolton to Entwistle Station

What to bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes or trainers
• Weather appropriate layers
• Water and anything you like for after the walk
